This is an emergency contract that can last between 1 week to several months to over a year.

We have no idea right now how long it will last.

All Jobs pay a per diem of $269 - $457 per day based on location

 

We are providing flights to Puerto Rico and The US Virgin Islands at no cost to you.

If interested, you must be able to go to the airport within 48 hours of job acceptance.

Site Safety and Health Officer

Job Description-

5-7 years in safety and health related environment. Basic qualifications are: 1) broad
knowledge of safety and occupational health principles, methods, and techniques. 2) Skill in recognizing hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions, developing measures to eliminate or control these conditions and effectively communicating the appropriate
measures to resolve these problems is essential. 3) A practical knowledge of the methods, techniques, and procedures applies by industrial hygienists and environmental and fire prevention engineers is frequently necessary . Understanding of the EM385-1-1 methodology and familiar with EPP & SPCC. Additional Minimum Qualifications/Certifications for the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO): OSHA 30 Industrial Industry and OSHA 30 Construction Industry Safety certifications; and maintain competency through having taken 8 hours of documented formal training every year. The SSHO is a part of the ICS command staff and provides guidance to the IC on HSE policy, procedures and applicable agency regulations.

Administrative Support Staff

Job Description-

High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years’ experience performing administrative duties preferred to be related to finance, and cost analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and good telephone etiquette. Self-motivated and professional; and adept at
problem solving. Good written and verbal communication skills. Will also support management team with credentialing and bar coding of all DER related equipment and personnel. Additional administrative duties as required.

Electrical Branch Leader

Job Description-

The Electrical Branch Leader is licensed as a Master Electrician with an active license under the JHA of the State of Licensure. He/she has met all the prerequisites of the license and has been tested for their knowledge of the National Electric Code. Mandatory previous mission experience provides a deep understanding on the procedures and methods of standy by emergency generator installation. Proficiency with the hazards associated with the installation and de-installation of emergency standby generators. Assists with verification of BOM requirements to meet local and national electrical codes. Knowledge of emergency stand by generators operation, with competency in medium and low voltage systems; and connectivity. Reports to the Operations Chief.

Fuel Truck Driver

Job Description-

Minimum of 1 year driving experience, or have successful completion of a commercial vehicle training program consisting of at least 100 hours, Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record); and a valid class A or B driver’s license with HAZMAT endorsement. Experience operating power and manual tools; and light and heavy equipment. Experience working outside in different geogrphical climates. Strong knowledge of fuel delivery equipment (trucks, pumps, etc.), and the ability to problem solve quickly under pressure. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment,  with interpersonal skills to work well with others in a team environment.

Diesel Generator Technician

Job Description-

1-3 years’ experience in the servicing and preventative maintenance of diesel engines including fundamental Tier IV maintenance and regeneration activities. Able to perform prescribed oil and filter changes and generator inspection.

Job Description-

Electrician (Journeyman)

Job Description-

Electrician can be a Master or Journeyman Licensed/Certified Electrician. Both are state
licensed (where required), or have passed qualifying knowledge based, and practical exam. Both must have the required
experience and training for the issuing agency. Knowledge of techniques and emergency generator connectivity requirements is required; along with a deep understanding of separately and nonseparately derived systems. Reports to the Electrical Branch Leader.

Job Description-

Desired: 1-3 years previous work as electrician’s helper. Engaged in ongoing formal or
real-world electrical training under a licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician.

Truck Driver

Job Description-

Minimum Requirements: 23 years of age or older.  A CDL, or meet state issuance license requirement for class of truck. Specialized endorsements for HAZMAT and tanker where required. Must provide ten full years of employment history; and be able to pass background checks. A safe driving record is required, in addition to passing a DOT physical and drug screening.

Job Description-

Minimum two years of verifiable experience as an MHE Operator including evaluating
equipment capabilities and limitations. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid
Driver’s License. Prefer Equipment Operator training and certificate from accredited third party meeting current OSHA requirements; or verifiable military or civilian equipment operator training from construction field, or related certification.

Crane/Boom Operator

Job Description-

Crane/Boom operators must be meet eligibility requirements and be certified. Be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Comply with issuing agency's  Substance Abuse Policy, pass written examination(s), pass practical examination(s), and comply with issuing agency's code of ethics. Formal training through an accredited third party, or a company training certification program. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of crane and boom operations; and limitations including but not limited to: Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes (LBC), Lattic Boom Truck Cranes (LBT), Telescopic Boom Cranes - Swing Cab (TLL), and Telescopic Booms Cranes - Fixed Cab (TSS). A State certification may be required in some jurisdictions. Adherence and specific compliance to all applicable sections, and clauses of the EM385-1-1 ; in addition to all related HSE practices, policies, and procedures. Operator must also meet equipment manufacturer's "operator" guidelines for operation, required inspections, and maintenance.

REQUIRED-

Rigger/Spotter

Job Description-

Riggers must be meet eligibility requirements and be certified. Be at least 18 years of age, comply with issuing agency's Substance Abuse Policy, pass written examination(s), pass practical examination(s); and comply with issuing agency's code of ethics. Formal training through an accredited third party, or a company training certification program. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of moving and handling loads. The level of certification depends upon the individuals training, knowledge, skills base, and the ability to perform functions related to the selection, inspection, and proper use of rigging equipment. Adherence and specific compliance to all applicable sections, and clauses of the EM385-1-1 ; in addition to all related HSE practices, policies, and procedures. The Rigger must be able to effectively communicate with the Crane/Boom Operator.

communications. Able to provide software support for all mission applications. May also possess an FAA Drone Pilot license for assigned secondary duty during drone operations.

Quality Control Manager

Job Description-

Must be a Licensed/Certified Master Electrician, with previous emergency response experience during disaster events involving emergency power; and O&M services as a QA or Electrician. Possesses 2+ years of experience in the electrical installation, mechanical installation, repair and maintenance of emergency standby generators. Knowledge of standards, procedures, methods, and techniques, applicable to emergency power and construction projects including equipment, materials, and utility/ medium voltage systems. Knowledge of inspection, test, and measurement techniques  related to emergency power projects. Able to inspect electrical installations and identify potential hazards or problems. Deep understanding of electrical safety including arc flash protection, and oversight to enforce proper installation techniques with an emphasis on utility separation, deinstallation, safety, grounding and bonding. Able to provide training in electrical topics related to the mission.

Quality Control Officer

Job Description-

Significant, on-going experience related to the management of disaster response related
incidents and events that may involve simultaneous operations. Previous experience
includes either IC or Deputy IC positions with direct interface with mission related
activities. Functional experience in Incident Command at the levels or levels of
government commensurate with the scope of the incident. Satisfactory performance in
other positions within the ICS organizational structure, including Operations and/or
Planning Section Chief. Continual in-house and deployed training and gained experience
that will validate and verify demonstrated ability to perform required skills in exercises
and/or actual incidents every 5 years or as dictated by need . Understanding of the EM385 methodology and familiar with EPP & SPCC.and/or actual incidents every 5 years or as dictated by need . Understanding of the EM385-1-1
methodology and familiar with EPP & SPCC.
